I obtained a scientific baccalaureate at the lycée Emile Peytavin, located in Mende (Lozère, France). A map is available here with the location of the school.
I chose to study Engineering Science in eleventh grade, then a specialization in Mathematics in twelfth grade.
I passed the exam with distinction, with an average of 17.55/20.
Erasmus+ program about karst
During my second and last year of high school, I had the chance to participate in an Erasmus+ programme on karst. Karst is a limestone massif in which water has dug many cavities.
This programme consisted of carrying out a study of karst massifs in Lozère ( France) in particular, and being able to present the results, either in the form of a colloquium, or directly to students. It was a collaboration between an Italian high school, a Slovenian high school and my high school.
I participated in this programme as a scientific workshop, together with two other students. Our study focused on the crystallographic analysis of concretions from the Lozère caves. In other words, we observed the structure of stalactites or stalagmites, on a microscopic scale.

Projects completed during highschool
During my high school years, I had to complete two projects, one for the Travaux Personnels Encadrés (TPE – 11th grade) and the other for the Projets Pluridisciplinaires Encadrés (PPE – 12th grade).
The TPE was about the creation of an instrumented nesting box, and is described in more detail in the corresponding article here. This project was conducted in 2016. The PPE was about the modelling and creation of a funicular model, and the project is presented here (writing in progress). This project was conducted in 2017.
